What is a 3D visualisation?
A 3D visualization is the modern upgrade of product photography (but without a camera). With smart 3D software, we create photorealistic images of products, machines, or buildings.
By adding realistic lighting, materials, and textures, we create an image that is just as good (or sometimes better) than a real photo.
And you don’t even need the physical product. Because we simply work from your CAD model. This way, you can visualize something that doesn’t yet exist and convince your audience with an image. Because here too, an image is worth a thousand words.
The possibilities with 3D visualizations
With a 3D visualization, you put your product in the spotlight, without it needing to be physically present. Ideal if it is still in development or difficult to photograph. No noise, just all the attention where you want it.
This is how you use 3D visualizations
3D visualizations are surprisingly versatile. Area developers often use them, for example, for artistic impressions of future buildings or environments. But there are also plenty of useful applications in the technical sector.
Product configurators
Technical products or machines often come in various variations. With 3D rendering, you can make all those configurations clear and interactive. Your customer can tweak the arrangement themselves, click on options, and (if you want) even get a direct price indication.
Tenders and bids
During a tender, thick documents are sifted through by people who are usually not technically trained. 3D visualization makes your proposal not only more understandable but also much more convincing. This increases the chances of a positive assessment!
Concept visualizations
In the conceptual phase, there is often a lot of ambition, but still very little tangible. It is precisely then that a 3D visualization helps to make ideas concrete. This ensures that all parties involved have the same image. It saves time in decision-making and the design process.
Having a 3D visualization created by Indal
Our clients? You will mainly find them in the technical and energy sector. And that is exactly where our strength lies. Thanks to a technical background, we speak the same language and understand what you want to convey. This is how we approach it:
Introduction
What do you want to show, who should understand it, and what is the goal? We actively think about how a 3D visualization fits into your communication and check if there is already content that we need to consider.
Concept & mood board
With your goals in mind, we will develop a creative approach. We create a mood board with atmosphere, lighting, and material samples. This ensures that the visualization perfectly aligns with your brand in terms of appearance.
First rough version
Based on your CAD model, we will build a first version of the visualization. Think of a rough layout of composition, perspective, textures, and lighting. Not final yet, but already good enough to provide feedback.
Finishing
We are going to fine-tune! We bring materials to life, play with reflections, and ensure everything looks realistic and sharp.
Overlays
Sometimes an image doesn't say it all. That's why we can add functional overlays. Think of measurements, arrows, labels, or short explanations. Useful if you want to explain the functionality, highlight details, or quickly let your audience grasp the essence.
Delivery & completion
If everything is correct, we will deliver your 3D visualization in the right formats: ready for print, presentable, and shareable. If you later need an animated version or additional edits, the technical basis is already prepared.
