More students for shortage sectors;

campaign for Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences

Client

Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences

How do we attract more students to shortage sectors such as technology and healthcare? Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences launched the campaign 'Future Makers' aimed at inspiring young people to engage in these fields.

We created the social video campaign, tailored to the target audience and optimized for YouTube and TikTok.

The approach

Social media is all about interaction and engagement. That’s why we developed a strategy in which we conducted authentic interviews with students that were spontaneous and easily accessible.

In addition, we combined voice-over Jeremy with 2D animations that highlighted the importance of the sector and provided a clear call-to-action to the campaign pages.

Short videos for multiple platforms

We created a series of ten short videos in different formats and developed a unique animation style for them. In collaboration with Happy Horizon, the Future Makers campaign was distributed via YouTube prerolls, Instagram (Meta), Snapchat, and TikTok.
